Project Description

YM Global, a UK-based company specialising in importing and distributing consumer goods, approached me to create a professional website that would establish their digital presence and showcase their growing product portfolio. The goal was to design a clean, trustworthy online platform that reflected their brand identity and supported future business growth.

Delivered the website design and build in just 2 weeks, while coordinating closely with the client to align visuals, content, and functionality.

Background

YM Global required a modern website to serve as the digital face of their company. The aim was to highlight their distribution expertise, display their product range, and provide potential partners with clear information and easy ways to connect. Since this was their first proper website, the design needed to balance professionalism with simplicity, creating credibility and trust from the first impression.

Research & Planning

I reviewed competitor websites and discussed client objectives to understand how best to position YM Global. Together, we defined the site architecture, including Home, About, Products, and Contact pages, ensuring clear navigation and messaging.

Design & Prototyping

Using Figma, I produced initial layouts focused on clean typography, product visuals, and a trustworthy blue-and-white colour scheme that aligned with the brand. Prototypes were shared with the client for quick feedback, allowing us to refine the design iteratively.

Development & Implementation

The website was built on WordPress, using Elementor to streamline design flexibility. Custom sections were created for product showcases, enquiry forms, and partner information. The site was optimised for speed, SEO, and responsiveness across mobile and desktop devices.
